It's a common question this time of year, so I'll go ahead and give it a headline: USF has announced that its annual preseason Football Fan Fest will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at Raymond James Stadium.
It's an all-day affair for Bulls fans, as that schedule allows fans to head across the bridge to Tropicana Field, where it will be USF Day for the Tampa Bay Rays, with a 4 p.m. first pitch for their game against Baltimore.
A few more key dates -- USF's football players report for preseason camp on Aug. 4, with the team's first practice set for Aug. 6. We'll be up in Newport, R.I., on Aug. 2-3 for the Big East's preseason football media gathering, where Skip Holtz, B.J. Daniels and Sampson Genus will be representing USF.
